My LNS finally decided to get some Brenda Keyes charts in and did I have fun. Stitching Red House Sampler and The Country Sampler were alot of fun. I decided to go with 32 ct flax linen and the listed DMC threads.

Heart's Secret

Last night I finished Heart's Secret. It's a design by Designs by Cathy Jean for Victoria Sampler. The linen was switched to a Vintage Examplar and a thread pack was used. The threads included Weeks, Gentle Arts, Glorianna and a black metallic. Tonight I'm starting Bluebird. It's one of her new designs.

Joyful summer

Joyful Summer was stitched last month using 28 ct linen and crescent colours.

Martina Dey Quaker SAL at the Yahoo Group

On Monday I finished Martina Dey Quaker Sal at the Yahoo Group
It took 22 days and was stitched using 35 ct creme brulee and Legacy Blue.
It was nice to stitch a bunch of different motif that I haven't tried. The M
in the middle is for my dog whose name was McNugget. He passed away
July, 2007 and was almost 10 years old. Here is a picture of my finished piece
and of my dog.
